CommentsDear Peggy and family, David Firlik called to let us know about Jack. He was a long-time patient, friend and even a Kelvinator co-worker for awhile. Please accept our sympathy and know that you and your family are in our prayers. We are sorry we cannot pay our respects in person, but since I retired, we spend winters south. CommentsDear Mrs. Church, It was so very sad to hear about Jack's passing--he was such a delightful member of our health-care van clients. It was always a good trip for me when I had Jack on my schedule of "pick-ups" for my dialysis run. He was always "up" for conversation and always showed an interest in what was happening with me. Jack was a good man--a good friend. I trust I will see him again in heaven someday--a good hope. Jack will be missed by all of us. May God give you a peace and comfort that only He can during this time of sadness. Tom Scholtens, one of the COA van drivers

CommentsPeggy and Family, I still remember all the 4H meetings at your house where we practiced square dancing on horseback and the pig roast the club had there. Jack was always there to lend a helping hand or just a smile. I haven't seen most of you in a long time but have kept updated a little thru Kyla via Debbie. My family and I pray that the Lord will hold you in His hands and give you the comfort and peace of knowing that you will be with Jack again some day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. In sympathy Arlyn, Darcy (Hooker) and Joel Fransens

CommentsI was sorry to read of Jack's death. In high school football he and Bill Myrick opened all the holes for me as a running back and I got all the credit, when they should have had most of it. Thanks to them we won the conference championship. I am now in Naples, Fl for the winters and read of Jack's death on the internet. Bill Eckstrom

CommentsMy Grandpa was, is, and always will be the greatest Grandpa, and man for that matter, to grace this world! It was so nice to see the many people that came to pay their last respects and I know Grandpa was smiling down on us all from Heaven. I want to thank my Grandma for being so strong for all those years...and Grandpa -- I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck! ~Sage Church~
