Mr. Ira M. Courson, age 48 of Grant, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at his residence in Ashland Township. He was born Ira Michael Courson in Grand Haven, the son of Edith Ilene (Ruth) and Kendall Marinus Courson on October 6, 1957. He married Brenda Lee Williamson on December 3, 1977 in Coopersville and he was a Laborer for Leigh Products, Coopersville until 1995. He is survived by his wife Brenda Courson, his daughters Tonya Courson of Ionia, Wendy & John Whitlock of Ann Arbor, Sarah Courson of Jacksonville, FL, Shauna & Josh Bunker of Muskegon, Toena & Matt Bunker of Muskegon, his sister & brothers Savilla Guinn of Coopersville, Randy & Deb Courson of Grant, Loren & Nancy Courson of Coopersville, Andy & Lois Courson of Marne, Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Coopersville Church of Christ, on Wednesday, December 7, 2005. There will be no visitation. For memorials in lieu of flowers please consider the Heartland Hospice. CommentsMy dad was the most wonderful man I have ever met. He has touch so many different people's lives. He was and is the nicest man that would do anything for anybody. He never complained and gave everyone everything he could. I love him and will miss him every day of my life. He will live on though me and my sisters and any grandchildren he may have will know exactly what kind of man thier grandfather was. We will all miss him and he will never ever be forgotten.
