Mr. Earl E. Osburn, age 85 of Grant, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at his home in Grant Township. He was born Earl E. Osburn in Grant, the son of Nellie Rebecca (Shaw) and Floyd Ora Osburn on January 19, 1920. He married Laurevia Barry on June 22, 1940 in Grant. He was a Foundry Worker for Sparta Foundry until 1977. He was a member of UAW Local #8.

He is survived by his wife Laurevia Osburn, his children David & Gloria Osburn of Newaygo, Judy & Jim Morrison of Grant, Sally Andersen of Engadine, Sandra Sotelo of Engadine, Janet & Ron Hilden of Grant, 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, his brothers & sister Russell & Luella Osburn of Big Rapids, Helen Roeters of Grant, Tom & Eileen Osburn of Twin Lake.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P. M. at the Hillside Cemetery near Grant, on Saturday, October 1, 2005. There will be no visitation. For Memorials please consider Hospice of Michigan-Newaygo Co. and/or Continue Care.
