Mrs. Donna M. Wood, age 69 of Newaygo, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 her residence in Grant Township. She was born Donna Marie Parks in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Doris () and Edward Parks on August 27, 1935. She married James Francis Wood on in . She was a Housekeeper for Hotels. She was a comunicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.

She is survived by her husband James Wood, her children Margurite & Jorge Eyes of Hopewell, VA, Patricia Bieniasz of White Cloud, James Wood Jr. of Decatur, TN, Debra & Gordy Ferguson of Hopewell, VA, Robert Wood of Grant, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, her brother Robert Jo Parks of Grand Rapids, and her aunt Marie Fredricks of Grand Rapids.

Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 P. M. from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Newaygo on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 with Father Tom Bufford as celebrant. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass.
