Mrs. Donna M. Chittenden, age 52 of Grant, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at her residence in Grant Township. She was born Donna Marie Hawley in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Shirley Clare (Lusk) and Claude Hawley on June 2, 1952. She married David Russell Chittenden on August 20, 1983 in Kent City. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of NRA.

She is survived by her husband David Chittenden, her stepchildren Michael & Christi Chittenden, Amy & Jeremy Shears all of Grant, 2 grandchildren, her brothers & sisters Carol & Leon Dauchy of Cedar Springs, George & Theresa Hawley of Grant, Dan & Marilyn Hawley of Casnovia, Dave & Hazel Hawley of Cedar Springs, Gordon & Nancy Hawley of Howard City, Jim & Barb Hawley of Grant, Hazel & Roger Arendsen of Sand Lake, Fay & Gwenn Hawley of Grant, Ruth Ann Lewis of Cedar Springs, Ted & Shirley Chaney of Grant, Rosemary & Phil Cranmer of Grand Rapids, Lillian Hawley of Cedar Springs, Claude & Joe Hawley of Cedar Springs, Jodi & Kenny Jack of Cedar Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Monday, May 23, 2005 with Pastor Kenneth Jourden officiating. Interment will be in the Idlewild Cemetery near Kent City.
