Mr. Blake O. Fisher, age 94 of Newaygo, died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Fountainview Retirement Village in Grant. He was born Blake Omar Fisher in Brown City, Michigan, the son of Esther (Burger) and Guy Omar Fisher on July 15, 1911. He married Genevieve Marie Komaracki on October 27, 1944 in Livonia, Michigan and she preceded him in death on January 20, 1995. He then married Ellen K. Kayrod on July 23, 1996 in Lansing, Michigan. He was a Director of Human Resources for JL Hudson Co. retiring after 35 years in 1977. He was a member of Newaygo United Methodist Church and a member of Newaygo Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife Ellen Fisher, his children Blake & Linda Fisher, Doris & Dave Cook, Mary Jane & Richard Sober, and his grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P. M., Friday, November 18, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church of Farmington. There will be no visitation.
