Ms. Susan M. Bode, age 49 of Newaygo, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Spectrum Health Continuing Care Center in Grand Rapids. She was born Susan Marie Bode in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Celia Marie (Laisure) and Alfred Delos Bode on March 10, 1955. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Resurrection Life Church of Newaygo.

She is survived by her parents Alfred & Sue Bode of Newaygo, her sisters Linda Bode, Laura & Bernie Gerencer, Sandra & Rolly Wolford all of Newaygo, her nieces & nephews Jason, Jill & Ryan Wolford, Travis & Leah Gerencer, several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Resurrection Life Church of Newaygo, on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 with Pastor Paul Ruzinsky officiating.

Visitation will be held 7-9 P. M. Monday a the McKinley Newaygo Chapel. For memorials please consider the Resurrection Life of Newaygo Church Building Fund and/or Newaygo First Responders.
