Mrs. Ruth H. Schuler, age 86 of Grant, died Monday, January 19, 2004 at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. She was born Ruth Harriet Clark in Hamtramck, Michigan the daughter of Bessie (Field) and Nelson Barnes Clark on December 17, 1917. She married Ray Amandus Schuler on June 30, 1938 in Farmington, Michigan. She was a Homemaker all her life and was a member of Grant Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her husband Ray Schuler, her children David & Janice Schuler of Evart, Michael & Judy Schuler of Bradenton, FL, Marilyn & John Jenkins of Grant, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, her sisters Helen Garcia of Ypsilanti and Virginia Hackney of Newaygo, she was preceded in death by daughter Karen Hawes in 1977.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A M from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Friday, January 23, 2004 with Pastors Jonathan White, Vernon LeFeber & Richard Fairbrother officiating.
