Mr. Max E. Brink, age 85 of Grant, died Sunday, September 20, 2004 at his residence in Grant. He was born Max Elton Brink in Grant, the son of Martha (Van Est) and Harry Brink on June 8, 1919. He married Katherine Eleanor (Kingsnorth) Lindemann on May 16, 1946 in Albion, Michigan. He was a Self-employed Dairy Farmer for 25 years until 1971 and then was in Feed Sales for 10 years at the Fremont Co-Op retiring in 1984. He was a member of Grant Reformed Church, Gideon's International and Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife Katherine Brink, his children Ralph & Terry Lindemann of Waynesville, OH, Kathleen & Steve Risinger of Kansas City, MO, Mark & Sandi Brink of Germantown, TN, Kirk & Jane Brink of Grand Rapids, 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his brother Donald & Julia Brink of Linnwood, WA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Grant Reformed Church, on Thursday, September 23, 2004 with Pastor James Karsten officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Center Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Wednesday at the McKinley Grant Chapel.
