Mrs. Martha H. Sutton, age 87 of Newaygo, died Friday, February 13, 2004 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont. She was born Martha Helene Ritchards in Thompsonville, MI the daughter of Elizabeth (Clayton) and Eli Ritchards on July 22, 1916. She married Henry Lysle Sutton on January 29, 1966 in Ludington, Michigan. She was a Seamstress for General Motors, Grand Rapids, MI until 1973.

She is survived by her husband Henry Sutton, her daughters Jeanne Barajas of Appollo Beach, FL, Shirley Vincent of Fremont, Cheryl Chipman of Newaygo, 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her brother Adam & Elbie Richards of Muskegon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Monday, February 16, 2004 with Pastor Harry Bultema officiating. Interment will be in the Big Prairie-Everett Cemetery near White Cloud. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Sunday.
