Mrs. Maricela B. Garfio, age 55 of Fremont, died Friday, December 17, 2004 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born Maricela Borjas in Corpus Christi, Texas the daughter of Julia and Antonio Borjas on July 17, 1949. She married Fermin P. Garfio, Sr. and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1981.

She is survived by her daughter Catherine Garfio of Fremont, her sons Fermin Garfio, Jr. of Grant, and Oscar Garfio of Fremont, 5 Grandchildren, her sister Isabel & Joe Sanchez of Texas, her brothers David & Cathy Borjas and Antonio & Gloria Borjas of Minnesota, her sister Ofelia Borjas of Texas. Memorial services will be held at a later date and there will be no visitation. Arrangements by the McKinley Funeral Homes, Inc. in Grant.
