Mrs. Marianne DeJohn Presler, age 82 of Sparta, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004 at Metron of Cedar Springs after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born Marianne Stoll in Whiting, Indiana the daughter of Anna (Kozak) and Walter Stoll on December 21, 1921. She was a Homemaker all her life and will be remembered as a most loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Sharon & Richard Foland of Conklin, Darlene & Gary Hall of Sparta, Darrel DeJohn of Grant, John DeJohn of Grant, Vicki McClure of Muskegon, James DeJohn of Glen Flora, WI, Robert DeJohn of Sparta, Tim & Mary DeJohn of Grandville, Tamara Nyland of Kent City, Kelly DeJohn of Sparta, Scott & Julie DeJohn of Stanton, many grandchildren & great-grandchildren, And several brothers & sisters. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Presler and granddaughter Pamela Presler in 1969.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Thursday, September 16, 2004 with Rev. C. J. den Dulk officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Center Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 P. M. Wednesday. For Memorials please consider the Kent County Humane's Society.
