Mr. Lester L. Ebel, age 93 of Fremont, and formerly of Grant/Newaygo area died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Transitional Health Services of Fremont. He was born Lester LeRoy Ebel in Hardin Co., Ohio the son of Sadie (Barry) and Oscar Robert Ebel on July 3, 1911. He and his brother Robert Ebel founded the Ebel Body Shop in Newaygo and he was also a truck driver for a cement company in Colorado until his retirement and moving back to Michigan.

He is survived by his children Victor Ebel of Oklahoma, Retta Ebel of California, Lanet Presler of Newaygo, his grandchildren, his sisters & brother Hope Stroud of Wyoming, Robert Ebel of Newaygo, Gladys Beuschel of Kentwood, Dorothy & Charles Lockery of Tuson, AZ, Charlotte Keller of Grand Rapids.

No services will be held at this time and there be no visitation.
