Mr. Kenneth J. Harper, Age 80 of Newaygo, died Monday, March 29, 2004 in Big Rapids. He was born Kenneth J. Harper the son of Callie Maye (Gary) and Paul Clinton Harper on May 7, 1923. He married Marion D. Ellis on November 4, 1944 in Perry, Michigan. He was a self-employed Truck Driver . He was a member of Sons of American Legion-Hesperia.

He is survived by his wife Marion Harper, his daughters Judy & John Lorenz of Hesperia, Sandra & Ronald Winterhalter of Newaygo, Joyce Stever of Seward, AK, Jean Morgan of Newaygo, Florence Allan of Newaygo, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Friday, April 2, 2004 with Pastor Richard Stoll officiating. Visitation will be held Noon - 1:00 P. M.. service time.
