Mr. John F. Dietz, age 62 of Howard City, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the home of his son in Reynolds Township, Montcalm County, Howard City. He was born John Fredrick Dietz in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Margaret Jane (DeKlyen) and John Bernard Dietz on May 12, 1941. He was a Leadman for Hekman Furniture Co., Grand Rapids, MI for over 32 years until 1992.

He is survived by daughter Virginia & Brian Anderson of Delton, MI, his son Randy Dietz of Howard City, granddaughter Misty & Timothy Hitchcock of Killeen, TX, grandson Nicholas Anderson, grandson T. J. Dietz, his father John B. Dietz of Clarksville, TN, his Brothers & sister Carol & Don Stoughton of Wayland, Kenny Dietz of Battle Creek, Lawrence Dietz of Jackson, and his ex-wife Darla Dietz. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Van't Hoff, his son Timothy Dietz, and his mother Margaret Dietz.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the Grace Community Church-Howard City, on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 with Pastor Joel Cooper officiating. There will be no visitation.
