Mr. John F. Campbell, Jr., age 57 of Newaygo, died Friday, July 2, 2004 at his residence in Brooks Twp.. He was born John Frederick Campbell, Jr. in Buchanan, Michigan the son of Margaret (Lowe) and John Frederick Campbell, Sr. on December 2, 1946. He was a Construction Superintendent until his retirement. He was a member of Labors' Local #355; Croton American Legion Post #381; VFW Post #4249, Newaygo. He was a veteran having served in the Marines during the Vietnam War from March 25, 1966 to November 22, 1967 when he was discharged as a CPL.

He is survived by his daughters Candace & Mike Rottman of Traverse City, Carissa Lee of Urbanna, VA, 3 grandchildren, his sisters and brother Debbie & Allan Craft of Newaygo, Karol & William Krumm of Galien, Karon & Franklin Gaul of Bridgeman, Ray & Barb Campbell of Galien, and several: nieces & nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Croton American Legion Post #381, Newaygo, Michigan on Saturday, July 17, 2004 with Croton American Legion Post Chaplain officiating.
