Mr. James G. Murphy, age 46 of Sand Lake, died Friday, January 9, 2004 in Grand Rapids. He was born James Gordon Murphy in Grand Haven, Michigan the son of Joyce Mary (Ryther) and James Carleton Murphy on October 2, 1957. He married Colleen Marie Bradley on March 20, 2002 in Las Vegas, NV. He was presently a Parking Lot Attendant for Ellis Parking Company, Grand Rapids .

He is survived by his wife Colleen Murphy, his parents James & Joyce Murphy of Newaygo, his sisters Linda & Ronald Benson of Grand Haven and Kathy Murphy-Voshel & Wayne Moore of Newaygo.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Saturday, January 17, 2004 with Rev. David Wygmans officiating.  There will be no visitation. For Memorials please consider the American Heart Association.
