Mrs. Edna M. Wright, age 85 of Newaygo, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Metron of Big Rapids. She was born Edna May Pratt in Ensley Township,Newaygo County, Michigan the daughter of Alice (Ashley) and Willard Pratt on June 1, 1919. She married Leo E. Wright on March 25, 1940 in Charlotte, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1973. She was a Machine Operator for Kent Casting, Grand Rapids until 1981. She was a member of Ensley Baptist Church where she was involved with Awanafor several years. Bowling, gardening and care of her yard were her interests along with helping others and loving her family.

She is survived by her children Barbara & FranK Butler of Newaygo, Leo, Jr. & Ann Wright of Moline, KS, Eileen & Walt Chrysler of Grant, Charlene & Richard, Sr. Crosby of Grant, La Vonne & Carl, Sr. Barker of Sulphur Rock, AR, Dawn & Tony Marek of Howard City, Roxie & Neil Dryfhout of Grand Rapids, Rick & Cathy Wright of Sand Lake, 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, numberous step-grandchildren & great-grandchildren, her brothers Rev. Alfred Pratt of TN, Milford & Nadine Pratt of Howard City, George Pratt of Grand Rapids, brother-in-law Arthur Lillibridge of Marne, sisters-in-law Geraldine Pratt of Howard City, Caroline Oldham of Comstock Park, several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death besides her: husband Leo by grandson Faron Nestle, brother Warren Pratt, sister Eleanor Lillibridge.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. from the Ensley Baptist Church, Sand Lake on Monday, June 21, 2004 with Pastor James Ankerberg officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Croton Township. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Sunday at the McKinley Newaygo Chapel.
