- Mr. Victor August Grossman, Age 95 of Sparta, died Thursday, January 23,
2003. He was born Victor August Grossman in Chicago, Illinois the son of
Hedwig (Skibbie) and Edward George Grossman on November 08, 1907. He married
Mildred Cadwell on May 23, 1931 in Elkhart, Indiana and she preceded him in
death on July 2, 1995. He was a Farmer & Factory Worker for Knapp & Vogt until
in 1972. He was a member of Alpine Baptist Church. Survived by:
- Daughter: Rosemary & Ed Boyd of Sparta
- Daughter in Law: Lela Grossman of Grant
- 6 Grand children
- 10 Great Grandchildren
- Several nieces and nephews
- Preceded in death by
- Wife: Mildred Grossman on July 2, 1995
- Son: Donald Grossman on December 9, 2000
- Son: Freddie Grossman on April 28, 1953
- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel,
Grant on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 with Pastor Dan Fullmer & Pastor Doug
Compton officiating. Interment in Idlewild Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM
Tuesday at McKinley Grant Chapel. Memorials: Alpine Baptist Church or Rice
Lake Baptist Church.
