Mr. Theodore R. Murray, age 81 of Harlingen, TX, formerly of Bailey,  died Monday, December 8, 2003 in Harlingen.   He was born Theodore Roosevelt Murray in Bailey, MI the son of Edith  (Moore)  and George Blyn Murray on May 8, 1922. He married Wanda Eileen Kik on December 10, 1943 in Bailey, Michigan. He was a Missionary for Mexican Mountain Mission of which he founded over 40 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ.   

He is survived by his wife Wanda Murray, his children Gloria & Dan Penwell of Chattanooga, TN, Ted & Mari Murray of Madison, WS,

Gwen Murray of Kentwood, Juan & Selene Murray of Mexico, David & Reyna Murray of Mexico, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren,

His brothers & sister Maurice & Jane Murray of Cedar Springs, Ellen & Gerald Tibbe of Bailey, Ronald & Doris Murray of Grant.

Funeral services  will be held at 11:00 A M from the Bailey Christian Church, on Saturday, December 13, 2003 with Daren & Derek Penwell & Maurice Wertenburger officiating.  Interment will be in the Seaman Cemetery near Bailey.   Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Friday at the Bailey Christian Church. For Memorials please consider the Mexican Mountain Mission.
