Mrs. Ruth M. Crough, age 83 of Newaygo, died Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Spectrum Health Services Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.   She was born Ruth Mary Daniels in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Katherine  (Bucholtz)  and Roy C. Daniels on January 25, 1920. She married James Wesley Crough July 3, 1948 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1970. She was a Homemaker all her life,  a communicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church-Newaygo and was a member of Croton American Legion #381 and  the Auxilary of the VFW Post #4249 of Newaygo.     

She is survived by her children Kathryn & Galen Crutchfield of Newaygo, John & Deb Crough of Mt. Shasta, CA,  Ed Crough of Newaygo, Jim & Mary Crough of Montague, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and her sister Phyllis Trzcinski of Grand Rapids.

There will be a graveside memorial service  at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery in Newaygo Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 11:00 A. M.,  There will be no visitation.
