Mrs. Rose M. (Kochis) Holmes, Age 77 of Grant, died Friday, October 3, 2003 in Grant. She was born Rose Marie Kochis in Struthers, Ohio the daughter of Anna C.(Olenic) and Joseph Kochis on January 6, 1926. She married Leonard Holmes on November 12, 1945 in Struthers, Ohio. She was a homemaker all her life. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.

 She is survived by her husband Leonard Holmes of Grant,her children Michael & Marie Holmes of Hamburg, Sylvia & Sam Bull of Bailey, Sidney & Kathy Holmes of Newaygo, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her sister Sarah Dumas of Youngstown, Ohio.

Memorial Mass services will be held at 11:00 A. M, Thursday, October 9 from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo with Father Loc Trinh as Celebrant. There will be no visitation. For Memorials please consider the Hospice of Michigan-Newaygo Co..
