- Mr. Richard Vander Werf, Age 74 of Fremont, died Thursday, May 29, 2003 in
Grand Rapids. He was born Richard Vander Werf in Grand Rapids, Michigan the
son of Nellie (Greep) and Ralph Vander Werf on January 08, 1929. He married
Loretta Alice Eldred on July 31, 1950 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was a Foreman
for Van Ess until his retirement. He was a veteran having served in the Army
during the Korean War from December 06, 1950 to November 27, 1952 when he was
discharged as a SGT (T).

- Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel,
on Monday, June 02, 2003 with Mr. David Joe Hatter officiating. Interment in
Bridgeton Cemetery. Visitation 1-3 PM Monday before service.
