- Mr. Marcus "Jay" Patterson, Age 65 of Grant, Michigan died Thursday, May
15, 2003. He was born Marcus Jackson Robert Patterson in Rivervale, AR the son
of Rachel Jane (Freeman) and Thomas Allen Patterson on March 24, 1938. He
married Barbara Jean Rice on October 12, 1958 in Newaygo, Michigan. He was a
Laborer for Sparta Foundry until 1995. He was a member of Grand Rapids/Sparta
Moose Lodge and Newaygo Co. Historical Society.

- Sister: Shirley Sharp of Newaygo,
- Brother-in-law: Jim Rice of Newaygo,
- Brother-in-law: Harry & Char Rice of Lansing,

- Best Friend: Russell Wert of Grant,
- Several: Nieces & Nephews,
- Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M.from the Rice Lake Baptist
Church, Grant on Saturday, May 17, 2003 with Pastor Dan Fullmer officiating.
