- Mrs. Harriet A. Halverson, Age 78 of Grant, died Saturday, February 22,
2003. She was born Harriet A. Davis in Grant, Michigan the daughter of
Florence (Dorman) and Gilbert Davis on May 15, 1924. She married Leonard
George Halverson Sr. on July 3, 1942 in Newaygo and he preceded her in death
on February 22, 1988. She was a Janitor for Gerber Baby Food until her
retirement. She was a member of VFW Post #4249 Ladies Auxiliary and she was
also an avid Euchre player.

- Brother: Wayne & Barbara Davis of Plainwell

- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel,
on Tuesday, February 25, 2003. Interment in Bridgeton Cemetery. Visitation 2-4
& 7-9 PM Monday. Memorials: Newaygo VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #4249 or Howard
City Senior Center.
