Mr. Fred L. Wallace III, age 64 of Grant, died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 in Muskegon. He was born Fred Lee Wallace III in Boyne City, MI the son of Margaret (Gillespie) and Fredrick Wallace on December 22, 1938. He married Linda Louise Halverson on February 18, 1961 in Fremont. He was a self-employed carpenter until 2001.

He is survived by his wife Linda Wallace, his son Fred IV & Pamela Wallace of Ray, 2 grandchildren, his brother Thomas & Sandy Wallace of CA, and sister Star & Dick Raymond of East Jordan, he was preceded in death by his son Mark Thomas Wallace Nov. 26, 1988.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Friday, December 5, 2003 with Pastor Judy Corey officiating. Interment will be in the Bridgeton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Thursday. For Memorials please consider the American Cancer Society.
