Mr. Donald J. Coles, aged 70 of Grant, died Friday, October 24, 2003 at his home in Ashland Township. He was born Donald Junior Coles in Muskegon, the son of Anna (Stone) and Frank Coles on February 26, 1933. He was a Laborer for John Thomas Batts until 1998.

He is survived by his children Daniel & Lori Coles of Grant, Joy Johnson of Escanaba, Ed & Jerri Coles of Hamilton, Lisa & Brad Van Beek of Newaygo, 9 grandchildren, his brother & sisters Jack & Betty Coles of Muskegon, Erma O'Brien of HI, Thelma Gilbert, Adella Schamber, Julia Coles all of Muskegon.

Visitation will be held from Noon-2 P M at the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Wednesday, October 29, 2003.
