Mr. Claire J. Cripe, age 72 of Big Rapids, formerly of Grant and Muskegon died Sunday, December 14, 2003 in Big Rapids. He was born Claire Jesse Cripe in Niles, Michigan the son of Frances Matilda (Small) and Bert Otto Cripe on March 2, 1931.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters Robert Cripe of Niles, Donald Cripe of Twin Lake, Dorothy Evans of Grant, Mary Brott of Ravenna and Margaret Renouf of Grant.

There will be no funeral services or visitation. Interment will be in the Bridgeton Cemetery near Grant.
