Mr. Brian L. Bouwkamp, Age 19 of Grant, Michigan died of accidental injuries suffered in a crop duster plane crash Wednesday, August 13, 2003 in Tyrone Twsp. Kent Co., Michigan. He was born Brian Laurence Bouwkamp in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Nancy Jane (Hiscock) and Michael John Bouwkamp on November 9, 1983. He was a self-employed Crop Duster.   He was a member of the Grant Reformed Church and the American Pilots Association.

He is survived by his parents Michael & Nancy Bouwkamp of Grant, his brothers Matthew, Dean & Kyle Bouwkamp of Grant,  his grandparents Rosemary & Robert Oostveen of FL, Larry & Norma Bouwkamp of Grant, his great-grandmother Oella Vosburg of Battle Creek, and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Grant Reformed Church on Saturday, August 16, 2003 with Pastor James Karsten officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held  2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Friday at the Grant Reformed Church. For Memorials please consider the Grant Christian School and/or Gideon's International.
