She was born Sara Jane Havens in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Sara Jane (Gaubatz) and Raymond J. Havens on October 28, 1958. She was an Office Aid at Grant Middle School and was employed by TrimQuest in Walker. Survived by: Son: Kyle & Tricia Crater of Howard City, Daughter: Nicole Crater of Grand Rapids, Daughter: Lora Crater of Grant, Grandson: Kaleb Rodriguez, Granddaughter: Olivia Rodriguez, Mother: Sara & Harry Coates of Comstock Park, Brother: Ray & Sharon Havens of Grandville, Brother: Doug Havens of Comstock Park, Fiancee: Mike Grundel of Grant, Preceded in death by Father: Raymond J. Havens of on October 28, 2001 and Step Sister: Sheryl Hesser. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM from the Grant United Church of Christ, Grant on Monday, February 03, 2003 with Pastor Craig McDonald officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery.
