Mrs. Ruth R. Dunbrock age 95 of Newaygo, Michigan died Wednesday April 3, 2002 at
her residence in Newaygo. She was born Ruth Ross in Jackson, Michigan the
daughter of Sarah (Dalton) and Jack Ross on January 13, 1907. She married George C. Dunbrock on
August 10, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and he preceded her in death on 1972. She was
a Secretary for Ann Arbor Police Dept. until 1972. She was a member of St. Bartholomew
Catholic Church; the Elks Lodge #325 Ann Arbor; and the Knights of Columbus Ann Arbor.
She is survived by her son James Dunbrock of Newaygo, MI, her granddaughter Pamala &
Andrew Dahlmann of Ann Arbor, MI, grandson Jeff & Victoria Dunbrock of Houston, TX,
great-grandchildren Aly & Annika Dahlmann, niece Clyta Chambers, and many
other special nieces & nephews, special great nieces Cathy & Randy Hull,
and Amy & Donald Barnhard, and many other speical great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 P M from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church,
Newaygo, MI, on Monday, April 08, 2002 with Father Ronald Schneider as celebrant.
Visitation will be 2-3 P. M. Monday. For memorials please consider the St. Bartholomew
Food Pantry.
