Mr. Robert J. Plakmeyer age 58 of Grand Rapids and formerly of Grant died
Tuesday June 11, 2002 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids, MI . He was
born Robert Jay Plakmeyer in Grant, Michigan the son of Dena K. (Mulder) and Ralph
Plakmeyer on April 14, 1944. He was presently a Laborer for Meijer's Inc. He was a
member of Grant Christian Reformed Church.
He is survived by his mother Dena Plakmeyer of Hudsonville, Mi, his brothers and sisters Mary & Ron Bol of Jenison, MI, Sharon & Ron Stryd of Kalamazoo, MI, Steve Plakmeyer of Hudsonville, MI,
and several nephews & nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. from the Grant Christian Reformed Church, on Friday, June 14, 2002 with Rev. Case Van Wyk officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Thursday at McKinley Grant Chapel and Friday 1-2 P. M. at the church.
