Mr. Mark A. Van Alstine age 35 of Croton Twp., Newaygo, Michigan Formerly of Clarksville
died Thursday June 20, 2002 of accidental injuries. He was born
Mark A. Van Alstine in Ionia, Michigan the son of Rachel Irene (Peasley) and Herbert Ray
Van Alstine on April 15, 1967. He married Laurie Hunter on May 15, 1992 in Alto,
Michigan. He was a Machine Operator of Precision Steel Grinding for Fraser Grinding of
Comstock Park. He loved hunting.
He is survived by his wife Laurie Van Alstine, his daughters Abbi Hunter,
Ashley Hunter, Anna Van Alstine, Ali VanAlstine all of Newaygo, MI,
his brothers Ron & Joan Van Alstine, Ray Van Alstine all of Eagle, MI,
Robert Van Alstine of Big Rapids, MI, Joe & Debra Van Alstine of Farmington Hills, MI,
Pat Van Alstine of Clarksville, MI, his father & mother-in-law Dick & Karon Hunter of
Alto, MI, his uncle Kenneth Van Alstine of Big Rapids, MI, and
several nieces & nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P. M. from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel
on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 with Rev. Paul Ruzinsky officiating.
There will be no visitation.
