Mrs. Laura E. Pummel age 86 of Muskegon, Michigan formerly of Grant died Tuesday
April 02, 2002 at her residence in Muskegon . She was born Laura Elmina Richardson in
Grant, Michigan the daughter of Lillian (Dougan) and Ray Richardson on February 9, 1916.
She married Myron Pummel on April 1, 1936 in Grant, Michigan and he preceded her in
death on November 15, 1990. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of First
Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her children Robert & Linda Pummel, Lillian & Ronald
McDonald, Larry Pummel, Elaine Pummel, James Pummel all of Muskegon, Thomas Pummel
of Coopersville, MI, Patricia & Bill McCullough of Powhatan, VA, Irene & Marc Keigley
of Shelby, MI, her 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her Daughter Sharon and Sister Dawn Peterson Platt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Saturday,
April 6, 2002 with Pastor Kelly Carlson officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside
Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be 7-9 P. M. Friday.
