Mrs. Ila B. De Bois age 93 of Bailey, Michigan died Friday April 25, 2002 at
Transitional Health Services, Fremont, Michigan. She was born Ila Belle Moore in Casnovia
Twp, Michigan the daughter of Effa M. (Miller) and Arthur W. Moore on February 25, 1909.
She was a Sales Clerk for Wurzburg Department Store, Grand Rapids. She was a
member of Bailey Church of Christ. She also taught her love of the piano to many students.
She is survived by daughter Carol Holmes of Bailey and her friend Gary Mann of
Battle Creek, MI, her grandchildren Scott Holmes of Bailey, MI and Tammy & Robert Van Dyke
of Grant, MI, her great-grandchildren Teresa & Amaya Van Dyke, her brother-in-law
Kenneth & Mary De Bois of Newaygo, MI, and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P M from the McKinley Funeral Homes-Grant Chapel,
on Monday, April 29, 2002. Interment is in the Seaman Cemetery near Bailey.
Visitation will be 6-9 P. M. Sunday. For memorials please consider the Northland
Church of Christ Building Fund.
