Mr. George Charles Rendl age 86 of Newaygo , Michigan Formerly of Chicago died Monday, November 18, 2002 at Gerber Memorial Health Services, Fremont, MI . He was born George Charles Rendl in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Frances (Fronek) Rendl on August 07, 1916. George was a native of Chicago and the suburb of North Lake. He moved to Newaygo with his second wife Darlene in 1981. George was a loving dedicated Husband, caring Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He married his first wife Helen Dawiec in 1937 in Chicago for 32 wonderful years and she was the mother of his three children. She preceded him in death on 1969. He then married Darlene Goebel Bowen on July 15, 1972 in Chicago. He was a Foreman for Dovee
Manufaturing Co., Franklin Park, IL. until 1980. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Newaygo, Michigan on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 with Father Loc Trinh officiating. Visitation Tuesday, 3-5 & 7-9 PM at McKinley Chapel, Newaygo. Cremation will follow the services with burial of Mr. Rendl's ashes in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
