Mrs.Florence E. Booth age 85 of Fremont Michigan,  Formerly of Newaygo died
Thursday October 18, 2001 at Fountain View of Fremont, MI . She was born
Florence E. Barton in Newaygo, Michigan the daughter of Bethel Ann Cattanach and Darl
Frank Barton on July 20, 1916. She married Bernard C. Booth on May 1, 1939 in Newaygo
and he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1963. She was a Elementary School Teacher for
22 years for Fremont Public Schools until 1981. She was a member of UCC First
Congregational of Fremont. She was a Honorary Member Fremont Garden Club; Avid
Audobon Society Member; Member of Michigan Educational Association;Received Masters Degree in Elementary
Ed from CMU in 1977; .

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM from the McKinley Funeral Homes-Newaygo Chapel,
on Saturday, October 20, 2001 with Pastor Robert Wood officiating . Interment in
Newaygo Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 7-9 PM. Memorials: American Red Cross New
