Mr. Dale E. Henry age 69 of Grant, Michigan died Thursday June 20, 2002 at Spectrum
Health-Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids, MI. He was born Dale Ellis Henry in Grant,
Michigan the son of Georgia Pearlyette Smith and John Henry Henry on June 29, 1932. He
married Ruth Ellen Hollinger on May 31, 1957 in Grant, Michigan and she preceded in
death on March 9, 1999. He then married Pauline Jerome Walker on August 11, 2001 in
Bailey, Michigan. He was a self-employed farmer for Double H Farms in Grant, MI
until 1993. He was a member of Ashland Center Church of Christ. He was a
veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War from 09/11/52 to 09/10/54 when
he was discharged as a Cpl.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Henry,
his children Kathy & Mike Cook of Fremont, Scott & Gayle Henry,
Chris & Dave Cook, Dick & Judy Henry all of Grant,
Nathan Henry & Friend Lori Davis of Saginaw, special daughter Mari Ando of Japan,
his step-children Pamela & Gary Moorland, Steven & Carol Walker,
Kimberly & John Doane all of Grant, 11 grandchildren, his brother and sister
Bill & Charlene Henry, Bonnie Hilbrand, sister-in-law Betty Henry all of Grant.
He was preceded in death by brother Walt Henry in 2002 and Gene Henry in 1969.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P. M from the North Casnovia Baptist Church near
Bailey on Sunday, June 23, 2002 with Pastor Kelly Carlson officiating.
A Family Prayer Service will be held at 1:45 P. M. There will be no visitation.
