Mr. Antonio Santellan age 92 of Muskegon, Michigan Formerly of Grant died Saturday July
27, 2002 at Roosevelt Park Nursing Centre, Muskegon, MI. He was born Antonio Santellan
in Coloradas Nuevo Leon, Mexico the son of Elodia (Orozco) and Juan Santellan on May 16,
1910. He married Anastacia Medrano on August 8, 1931 in Mexico and she preceded him in death
on December 20, 1991. He was a Sanitary Janitor for Duffy-Mott, Bailey, MI until 1975. He
was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children Maria de Jesus Ramirez of Fennville, MI
Placido & Eloisa Santellan of Holland, MI, Inez & Jere Ninio of Manuel, TX,
Antonio & Santiago Santellan Jr of Grant, MI, Marcelina & Aurelio Gonsalez of Weslaco, TX,
Francisco & Maria Santellan of Grant, MI, Elodia & Roy Leal of Sparta, MI,
Lupe & Tom Decker of Muskegon, MI, Jose Juan & Gloria Santellan of Grant, MI,
Gregorio & Pat Santellan of Grant, MI, Mary & Val Castro of Rockford, MI,
Isabel & Robert Perez of Wyoming, MI, Lucia & Steve Hendricks of Jenison, MI,
Alicia & Erasmo Lara Jr. of Grant, MI, Jean & Jeff Collins of Wyoming, MI,
Olga & Jeff Millis of Hesperia, MI, Merced & Jerry Clark of Wyoming, MI,
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren,
his brother Modesto & Maurilia Santellan of Holland, MI, and 3 brothers & a sister in
Mexico. He was preceded in death by his son Ted Santellan who was killed in Vietnam
in 1968.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the Bailey Christian Church,
on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 with Mr. Mike Scholton officiating. Interment will be in the
Parkview Cemetery in Grant. Visitation will be held 3-5 P. M. Sunday, and
2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Monday at the McKinley Grant Chapel. For memorials please consider the
