Born 5/21/26 in Custer, Mi., died unexpectedly Saturday, 8/4/01 in Durham, NC.   He and his wife Eileen were residents of St. James City,  Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents Richard H. and Ellen M. Jenks of Grant, Michigan and his sister Margaret Schaub of Fruitport, Michigan.  He is survived by his wife Eileen; daughter Teddi (Steve) Karsten of Palm Harbor, Florida; sons Todd (Charla), Jeff (Jennifer), and John of Comstock Park, Michigan; and their mother Connie Jenks; his two sisters Annabelle (Ferris) Gragg and Carri Lou Jenks of Newaygo, Michigan; and six grandchildren: Brittany, Tyler, Emily, Brayden, Morgan, and Katie.
     He was a veteran of the United States Navy and World War II.   He was Vice President of the Museum of The Islands in Pine Island, Florida. He was active in several organizations in South West Florida where he had helped many residents through his exemplary life.  He was employed for many years by Advance Packaging and Best Packaging.  He was active in the Cape Coral Assembly of God and Cape Coral Community churches and the Masonic Lodge of Casnovia, Michigan. He will continue to be loved through our memories.  Memorial service to be held at McKinley's Funeral Home/45 East Main St. Grant Michigan 49327.
