Mr. Larry Bruce Deitz age 64 of Newaygo, long time Grant resident, died Tuesday August 14, 2001 at his residence in Newaygo, Following a Long Illness. He was born Larry Bruce Deitz in Muskegon, the son of Neta Marie (Beals) and Frederick Henry Deitz on March 26, 1937. He was a Self Employed Carpenter & Plumber. He Attended Ashland Center Church of Christ. He was a veteran having served in the Marines from 08/30/56 to 08/28/59 when he was discharged as a LCpl.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Grant Reformed Church, on Friday, August 17, 2001 with Mr. David Joe Hatter officiating. Interment in Ashland Center Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 PM Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday at McKinley Funeral Home Grant Chapel. Memorials: Ashland Center Church of Christ.
