Mr. Garrett Raymond Boersma age 84 of Newaygo, Michigan died Thursday October 11, 2001
at Gerber Memorial Health Services, City of Fremont, MI . He was born Garrett Raymond
Boersma in Schererville, Indiana the son of Anna DeMaar and George Boersma on February
06, 1917. He married Gertrude Gouwens on January 17, 1941 in Hammond, IN. He was in Sales
for Schepel Buick GMC & Boersma Greenhouse until 1979. He was a member of Grant Reformed
Church 271 E. State Rd. Grant MI.

at the McKinley Grant Chapel with Visitation 2-4 & 6-9 PM Saturday at the Grant Chapel.   Mr. Boersma was then transported to South Holland, Illinois where Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A M from the Smits-DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home,
South Holland, Illinois 60473 on Monday, October 15, 2001 with Rev. Andy Nearpass
officiating with visitation 2-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday at the Smits Chapel. Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
