Mr. Donald R. Rathbun age 84 of Ocala, FL, Florida Formerly of Newaygo died Sunday
September 02, 2001 at Life Care Center of Ocala, Ocala, FL . He was born Donald R.
Rathbun in Custer, Michigan the son of Grace Blondell and Raymond Rathbun on May 30,
1917. He married Gladys Stypa on April 15, 1945 in Manistee, MI. He was a Superintendent
, Principal, Teacher & Coach for Newaygo Public Schools until 1976. He was a member of
Longtime member of Newaygo Golf League; Masters Degree from U of Michigan; bachelor
Degree in Educaation from West. MI Uni.; He loved to fish the Muskegon river; .

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM from the McKinley Funeral Homes-Newaygo Chapel,
on Saturday, September 15, 2001 with Father Kurt Fish officiating . Interment in
Newaygo Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Friday, Sept. 14 at the Chapel.
