Robert Kenneth Brown Sr., lifetime resident of Grant, Michigan, son of Guy and Ella (Brydges), went to be with his Lord Saturday, August 4, 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Leon, Floyd and Fern. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Marie (Hubbard); their children, Robert Jr. and Pamila Brown of Peuwaukee, WI; Barbara and Jerome Jankowski of Grand Rapids; Douglass and Verna Joan Brown of Constantine; and Dena Brown of Grand Ledge; ten grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren and two cousins, Vivian Anderson and Lucille Cochrane; and many other wonderful relatives, friends and neighbors. He was a life-long member of Grant Wesleyan Church, serving in many areas of ministry. Bob retired in 1987 from Keeler Brass Company. He never met a stranger more than once because he would immediately make them a friend. Pastor Jonathon White will be officiating the funeral service on Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at 11:00 AM from the Grant Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be held at the church from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 and before the service from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
